31 HOW EMR WI LL INIT IALLY USE AI ▲ EMR believe that by integrating AI into the Separator at an early stage will allow us to improve the deliverability of our Green Mining solutions.We will achieve this by utilising sensor-based ore sorting enabled by machine learning algorithms, that measure and report ore grade and ore characteristics, and in the future, propose enhancements. ▲ EMR has finalised a major AI and Mining R&D deal with a Exeter University (Cambourne School of Mines) who have a preeminent reputation in natural resources, data science and AI, in order to develop a machine learning/smart mining solution that involves integrating lidar, hyper spectral imaging, advanced sensors, AI, and robotics in the assessment and sorting stages.
